Buzz’s comments on his cruise from
New York to the Bahamas on the Crystal Symphony November 2021
Leaving from New York and
returning to New York meant I only had a short ride to get to and from the ship
with no overnights required. However, I
needed to test negative for COVID-19 three times before and during the cruise
to comply with Bahamas health authorities and to reenter the United States.
The cruise only stopped in
three islands so there were a few sea days that I love. The most of the lectures were excellent on
the several sea days. The ship had very few passengers – less than 25% of the
ship’s capacity so I was almost like sailing on a private yacht.
Food onboard was very
good; the same as my last several Crystal voyages. I continued to like the specialty
restaurants. Since I was in the Bahamas
in July I decided for this trip I would post pictures
of the items I ate for dinner in Silk, Prego and Umi
Uma. Enjoy the pictures.
Crystal continues to be my
favorite high-end cruise line because:
Great lectures
Dining variety every night
Multiple entertainment options
Reasonable single supplements if booked early
We had many sea days so the
lectures and entertainers were a very important part of making this a great
cruise. For a listing of
